Carnivorous chinchompas can be caught using the Hunter skill. They can be trapped with box traps at level 63 Hunter and give Hunter experience when caught. Once caught, Carnivorous chinchompas transform into the stackable Red chinchompas which can be wielded as a Ranged weapon.
Carnivorous chinchompas are unique monsters as they may be hunted as a Hunter NPC, yet players also have the option to kill them as a combat NPC as well as to capture them with a bolt pouch, though they yield no drops whatsoever.
